Various reports are starting to surface that Nokia's debut for a touch-screen device will be this Thursday.
Nokia was originally set to unveil the phone, code-named the “Tube,” sometime last week. It will mark the handset maker's first touch-screen since Apple launched the iPhone in 2007.
The expectation is that the device will be closely tied to Nokia’s Comes With Music service, which will first be released in the United Kingdom and compete with iTunes and other music services.
On Sep. 2, Nokia announced that Carphone Warehouse will be the exclusive U.K. prepaid channel for the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic edition.
A spokeswoman for Nokia said the company would not comment on an unannounced product.
